Job Description
We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician with an active NY license to join our team. This position involves a mix of OB (95%) and GYN (5%) responsibilities at a community health center. Start as soon as possible with an ongoing contract. Shift Details:
- 1 Hospital shift per week (24-hour call) with overnight stay; provider needs to be onsite during call, support room available adjacent to L&D
- 2 clinic days per week (8 hours each, Monday-Friday)
- On-call involves support for deliveries and patient management.
Work Environment
- Support staff includes 5 other OB providers and midwives
- Patients seen approximately every 30 minutes, averaging 14 patients per day
- Delivery volume around 1500 annually at hospital (Good Samaritan)
- Onsite ultrasound available and sleep room for overnight stays during 24-hour call shifts
Requirements
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (must be BC, no BE candidates)
- Active NY State Medical License and DEA license required
- Credentialing timeframe estimated at 60-90 days
- Willing to license is not needed as license is required prior to start
- Best suited for local providers to reduce travel expenses; mileage reimbursement preferred

- Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (09:00 - 17:00)
Additional Information
- Telemedicine, ambulatory surgery, private practice, hospital, and other healthcare settings experience a plus
- Ability to provide coverage for a minimum of 3 weeks per month
