Summary: 

Better Hospitality Group is seeking an Events Sales Coordinator to join and support our dynamic and fast-growing team.

As the Events Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the sales process and event logistics to create memorable experiences across two of our BHG venues. This position is responsible for overseeing venue event calendars, including booking and coordinating private and semi-private events, responding promptly to event inquiries, sharing detailed event information, and assisting guests throughout the reservation process. You will act as the primary liaison between event hosts and venue management teams, support BHG corporate event planning initiatives, process deposits, and develop package options for full-venue buyouts. In this role, you will guide prospective clients through available dates, times, and venue spaces while efficiently handling special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm. Working closely with the BHG team, you will help ensure staff are fully informed and prepared to successfully execute all confirmed events. You will also identify opportunities to expand and promote in-house events while contributing to the continued growth of the overall events program.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with strong communication and customer service skills, a passion for sales, excellent time management abilities, and the initiative to pursue ongoing sales growth opportunities for our events department.

This is a hybrid position open to DMV-based candidates only. This position will be primarily remote. However, your in-person attendance will be required for major events. The role will begin as a part-time position, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on individual performance and the continued growth and productivity of the events program.

What You Will be Doing :

• Manage and respond promptly to all private and semi-private event bookings across two BHG venues, as well as internally organized BHG events.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for party hosts, presenting available options and finalizing key event details such as headcount, date, time, and reserved space; conduct on-site meetings when needed.

• Address host questions and concerns promptly, coordinating with internal teams to fulfill special requests when possible.

• Oversee and maintain event calendars and Tripleseat software for BHG venues, ensuring bookings are strategically scheduled to align with overall business objectives.

• Draft customized party packages and contracts for full-venue buyouts and large-scale events.

• Confirm event staffing requirements with BHG management to ensure adequate coverage.

• Drive revenue growth by managing the sales process and overseeing event logistics from planning through execution.

• No prior event coordination experience required.

Requirements:

• A working and dependable computer with high-speed internet, reliable transportation for any on-site event attendance, and a working and dependable cell phone are required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $25 per hour, averaging 20 hours per week. 

• Performance-based bonus program tied to event sales and booking performance, with
  estimated annual commission earnings ranging from $10,000 to $30,000 based on last year's event results.
