Job Description
A Food Expeditor's primary responsibility is:
- To ensure the smooth and efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area acting as a liaison between the kitchen and servers.
- They check orders for accuracy and presentation, manage timing, and ensure food is delivered promptly.
- They also communicate with the kitchen staff about any issues or changes to orders.
Busser, is a restaurant staff member responsible for:
- Clearing and cleaning tables to ensure a smooth and clean dining experience for guests.
- Their primary duties include removing dirty dishes and utensils, wiping down tables and chairs, and resetting tables with fresh linens and place settings.
- They also support the servers by refilling drinks, assisting with food service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
