Medical ReceptionistBamboo Family Clinic is a fast-growing Family Medical Practice. We are seeking solution-focused Medical Receptionist with exceptional customer service skills who are willing and able to grow with us! Applicants must be 18 years old and able to pass all the required background checks prior to employment.Responsibilities and DutiesGreet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the officeAnswer, screen, and forward incoming phone callsAssist patients with scheduling and filling out required formsVerify patient's insurance information, payments, and referral requirementsKeep nurses, medical assistants, and other staff up-to-date on scheduling, patient details, and potential delaysEnsure the reception area is tidy and presentableAnswer questions and provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/emailMaintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception deskPerform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxingQualifications and Skills RequirementsRelative work experience, preferred, as a Clinical Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar roleMust have experience with running insurance eligibilityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Email correspondenceKnowledge of Tebra Software (preferred)Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. Fax machines and printers)Professional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksExceptional customer service attitudeHigh School Diploma - MinimumMust be 18 years of age or olderOther Job RequirementsWill be required to have a TB test and CPR Certification on file, prior to employmentMust have reliable transportation
