Provalus is seeking a Traveling Software Trainer to deliver exceptional onboarding and training experiences to our client's customers implementing dental practice management software . This role supports dental practices through in-person and virtual training, helping customers understand software functionality, adopt best practices, and improve operational efficiency, while serving as a key customer-facing resource throughout implementation and onboarding.

This is a travel-based role: the trainer travels to customer locations for onsite training engagements, with travel schedules and onsite needs coordinated in advance based on customer and business requirements. When not traveling, the trainer provides remote training and support from an approved Provalus U.S. Service Delivery Center.

The role uses client-provided tools and systems, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, TaskRay, CXOne, Bomgar, and Skilljar LMS. Trainers are expected to learn and use required systems accurately, maintain documentation as assigned, and comply with all client and Provalus access, security, and usage expectations.

THE JOB

Responsibilities include:

• Live Training Delivery: Deliver live, in-person and virtual software training sessions for dental practice staff, customized to each customer's implementation needs.

• Workflow Training: Train customers on key practice management workflows, including scheduling, billing, patient communication, treatment planning, insurance management, and clinical documentation.

• Onboarding Support: Serve as a point of contact for customers during onboarding, answering questions related to software functionality, configuration, and best practices.

• Implementation Collaboration: Support software implementation activities by collaborating with project managers, training leaders, and implementation teams to ensure timely and successful onboarding.

• Data Conversion Support: Coordinate with implementation teams to promote accurate data migration and system setup.

• Resource Development: Create, update, and recommend improvements to training resources, user guides, onboarding playbooks, and self-paced learning materials.

• Feedback & Improvement: Collect and evaluate customer feedback, including post-training survey results, to identify and recommend improvements to the training experience, documentation, and overall training quality.

• Standards Compliance: Follow approved training materials, standard operating procedures, compliance expectations, and industry best practices.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain professional communication with customers, client stakeholders, and internal Provalus teams throughout the training lifecycle.

Role Requirements include:

• Experience delivering software training, customer onboarding, implementation support, or related customer-facing instruction.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of software experience.

• Ability to facilitate engaging training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.

• Strong customer service skills, professionalism, patience, and adaptability.

• Ability to follow documented procedures, training materials, and compliance requirements.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage schedules, documentation, customer follow-up, and competing priorities.

• Comfort working with Microsoft Office and customer relationship, learning management, or support platforms (e.g., Salesforce, TaskRay, CXOne, Bomgar, Skilljar LMS).

• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to customer locations for onsite training, as required by business needs.

• Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dental practice management software.

• Knowledge of dental office workflows, including scheduling, billing, insurance, patient communication, and clinical documentation.

• Experience creating or updating training materials, job aids, user guides, or onboarding resources.

• Experience using Salesforce, TaskRay, LMS platforms, or remote support tools.

• Familiarity with adult learning principles, virtual facilitation, or blended learning methods.

Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday, within customer training coverage hours of 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST; travel may occur outside standard coverage hours as business needs require Work Location: Travel to customer locations for onsite training, with remote work from an approved Provalus U.S. Service Delivery Center when not traveling.
