Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Average 10 shifts per month, with on-call responsibilities split between three nurses.

Assignment Details

General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, GI, Colorectal, ENT, and Pain surgery cases.

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in surgery nursing
• Proficient in Epic EMR system

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the operating room
• Participate in surgical team meetings and patient care discussions
• Monitor patient status and vital signs during and after procedures
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care
