Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Vineyards Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing facility located at 76 Fenton Street, Livermore, California. It offers 24-hour Medicare-certified care in an 83-bed facility near downtown Livermore. It has received high-performing ratings in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care from the U.S. News & World Report. We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility. RESPONSIBILITIES : Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Help with mobility and ensure residents are safe and comfortable during transfers. Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions in accordance with facility policies. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families. Assist with infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with nursing staff to create and implement care plans. QUALIFICATIONS : Fresh or newly licensed CNAs are welcome Experienced CNA is preferred Experience in a skilled nursing facility/long-term care/senior care is a plus Valid and active CNA license in the state of California Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association Must have an active CPR Certification Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required Interest in working with the geriatric population Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic understanding of nursing care procedures and patient safety protocols.
