Financial Analysis Manager

Financial Analysis Manager Location: Overland Park, KS, US Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies – B&V Special Projects Corp. Role Overview As the Financial Analysis Manager , you will be responsible for providing complex management reporting and analysis, developing financial tools and models, and presenting budget/forecast assessments. You will work independently to establish priorities and provide recommendations and solutions to internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Direct, prepare, and interpret analysis of financial data. Provide complex analysis and recommendations primarily to internal clients. Identify areas of concern and support implementation of solutions. Prepare and review financial reports. Recommend and implement alternative reporting solutions. Coordinate and develop components of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Prepare budget/forecast presentations and supporting documentation. Analyze key business drivers, pricing, product mix, profit center performance, pro formas, and risk profile. Financial Tool and Model Development Develop and direct the development of financial tools and models for budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis, and strategic planning. Apply advanced enterprise-wide business systems knowledge to obtain and analyze data efficiently. Management Structure Advise and implement system modifications for business structure changes. Coordinate updates with Financial Applications and Business Process teams. Primary Internal Clients Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Department Heads, Finance Directors, Senior Finance Managers, and Finance Managers. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. Typically 7+ years of related experience. Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of FAR and CAS. Knowledge of Government Overhead Rates. Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint – Intermediate; Excel – Advanced. Microsoft Access – Basic. Knowledge of Black & Veatch Systems – Advanced. Knowledge of percent‑complete accounting. Knowledge of accounting and financial statements. Work Environment / Physical Demands Typical office environment. Limited travel. Hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days based on manager discretion and job performance.
