Order Picker / Warehouse Fulfillment Associate

We are a growing fulfillment/shipping company located in Livermore looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Fulfillment Associate to join our warehousing team.

As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for picking a high volume of orders, pulling and verifying items are correct for shipments. Packing orders and shipping orders. Along with unloading incoming inventory and assisting with receiving. Plus, other general warehousing tasks. You will be required to operate a forklift along with light machinery. Like pallet jacks and box strapping machines as well as use a rolling ladder.

Majority of orders are small and picked by hand, not with equipment. This is a physically demanding position that requires much movement throughout the day.

To ensure success as a Fulfillment Associate, you should be able to learn and understand warehousing procedures, have a good eye for detail and ensure accuracy, as well as have the ability to lift heavy objects when needed. Most of our material and products are small and light weight. Ultimately, a top-class Fulfillment Associate processes orders quickly and accurately while adhering to safety and quality standards.

General working hours are from 7am-3:30pm. 40 hours per week sometimes there is opportunity for overtime.

Compensation from $20-$22 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Fulfillment Associate Responsibilities:

• Prioritizing orders and tasks
• Picking orders from storage racking
• Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
• Reading and deciphering orders.
• Confirming merchandise information matches that of the order.
• Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
• Packing the merchandise for delivery.
• Adhering to state health and safety practices.
• Keep working area clean.
• Break down empty boxes and dispose.

Fulfillment Associate Requirements:

• Must be reliable, show up on time and be a dependable person
• Be able to operate a sit down forklift
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret orders.
• Must speak, read, and write fluent English
• General computer skills required
• Ability to lift heavy objects. Up to 60lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of warehousing procedures is a plus.
• Previous 3PL or experience as a Fulfillment Associate or order picker is a plus.
• Previous shipping experience Familiarity working with FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS is a plus.
