Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday ( very flexible with times and time off)

As we continue to grow, we are adding a Senior Accountant to our accounting team to support financial operations and enhance processes . This is a newly created role , offering the chance to step in as a go-to leader (without direct management responsibilities) and play a key role in financial reporting, standard costing, and process improvements.

Your Role: Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant , you will be a key player in our accounting and finance team , supporting daily financial operations and driving efficiencies . You’ll work closely with the Accounting Manager, Staff Accountant, and clerks to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and continuous improvement in processes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee month-end close , bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance
  • Lead invoice auditing and support AP/AR oversight
  • Support cost accounting functions – standard costing, purchase price variance (PPV), and inventory reconciliation
  • Work with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure costing accuracy
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP ( D365 experience a plus!)

What We’re Looking For:

✅ 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing)

✅ Strong understanding of cost accounting, BOMs, and inventory reconciliation

✅ Proven ability to drive process improvements and bring in fresh ideas

✅ Tech-savvy – Comfortable using ERP systems, Excel, and automation tools

✅ Longevity & Stability – A track record of commitment and growth in previous roles

✅ Team-Oriented Mindset – Able to step in as a go-to leader without direct management responsibilities
