Laboratory Technologist – Point of Care Testing (POCT) We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technologist to join our Point of Care Testing team at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and residents to perform and train staff on bedside strep, diabetes, and radiology tests to reduce turnaround time. This is a day shift position, rotating weekends and holidays, located at our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights. Competitive sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Preferred Criteria Two years of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience At least one year of Point of Care Testing experience ASCP certification Required Criteria A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent curriculum) New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department Salary $52.61 – $65.45 per hour.
