Apply today!Essential Functions, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesProject planning and coordination including subcontractor procurement, sampling and health and safety plan development, project management support with client and regulatory interfacingUtility clearance coordination with one call (811) and private utility locators, clients, and contractorsConduct geological field investigations and data collectionAssist with laboratory testingMonitoring and oversight of construction projects including deep foundations, ground improvement installation, load testing, and retaining wall constructionExperience with Geographical Information System (GIS) field data collection tools (preferred)Strong oral and technical writing skills (required)Valid U.S. Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)Ability to travel out of town for up to 1 week at a time (preferred)Geotechnical laboratory testing experience (preferred)Bachelors degree in Geology is requiredAdvanced degree in Geology is preferredHolds professional licensure or has ability to obtain professional licensure (P.G.) within four years (required)Additional InformationTraining: this position requires 40-hour OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm.
