Apply today, Let’s grow BIG together! Responsibilities Provide classroom support throughout the school as needed, working with children of various ages and developmental stages. Move between classrooms as needed to provide coverage and support daily operations. Serve as a substitute teacher when a teacher is absent or unavailable. Relieve teachers for scheduled bathroom breaks, lunches, and planning time while maintaining required staff-to-child ratios. Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom activities. Support children with handwashing, toileting, diapering, and other age-appropriate self-care routines. Prepare and distribute morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) snacks according to school guidelines and food safety standards. Assist with meal and snack setup, service, and cleanup. Maintain accurate snack inventory and communicate supply needs to administration to ensure adequate stock levels. Clean and maintain the kitchen, including microwaves, refrigerators, and other kitchen areas. Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents, families, fellow staff members, and administration. Build and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Commit to continuing education and ongoing professional growth. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following licensing regulations, school policies, and emergency procedures. Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director to support the overall operation of the preschool.
