For the world's and people's tomorrows; the world's first, the world's best technologies and products; we will continue our part in creating a better society.**Job Summary**Operator will be required to insert a variety of windings random and form coils, read diagrams and utilize torches to braze connections on a variety of different windings, for taping insulation on form wound coils per specifications. This position requires extreme attention to details and a thorough knowledge of the work procedures and component applications. Employee will be responsible for producing high quality parts for the next internal customer in the chain.**Job Description**The Winding Technician is responsible for ensuring a proficient flow of product with quality and safety at the forefront every day; wind and store fibrous material. Responsibilities & Duties • Inspect, test, document and communicate all findings during the rewind process • Test condition of winding according to EASA standards • Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment • Prepare all reusable parts for rewind and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions • Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding • Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines • Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • High School Diploma or equivalent • 3+ years of manufacturing experience • Must work well in a team environment • Ability to multi-task • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills • Self-motivated to work independently with high regards to quality of product**Additional Job Details**Support & Production – S2Organizational Impact• Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on achievement of results for the team• Work consists of tasks that are typically routine, with some deviation from standard practice• Works under moderate supervision for routine tasks• May seek advice of more senior employees in the same teamCommunication & Influence• Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreementInnovation & Complexity• Checks and makes minor adjustments to work methods to solve problems that are routine and typically exist in current work processes and systems• May be required to highlight areas of concerns/problems to supervisor in own team• Daily challenges are generally routine, but may require interpretation of procedures or policies to resolve problemsLeadership & Talent Management• May provide guidance or assistance to new or entry-level employeesKnowledge & Experience• Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.
