Position: Mechanical Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in mechanical engineering for accuracy and quality.
- Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on professional experience.
- Identify and recommend useful reference material relevant to mechanical engineering .
- Share insights into mechanical engineering tools, workflows, and standards used daily.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts across different fields to enhance AI tools .
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Degree-qualified mechanical engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US.
- 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
- Familiarity with ASME standards and tools like SolidWorks , ANSYS , AutoCAD .
- Experience writing technical documentation or training material.
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT .
- Based in the United States .
- Professional working English .
- Able to commit to 10 hours/week .
