Job Summary

Emergency Room position for a travel assignment with night shifts. The role provides emergency care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting, with a 1:4 patient ratio and opportunities to care for a broad range of emergency conditions.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and either Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience and Level I or Level II trauma experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role includes care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a 35-bed emergency department. Responsibilities may include arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous intravenous sedation, dysrhythmia management, intravenous vasopressors, neurological trauma care, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury care, intravenous access, stroke care, trauma care, and triage. Electronic charting experience is required.
