The Program Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across a complex, mission-critical program, serving as a key interface between Dewberry, government stakeholders, contractor personnel, and subcontractors.The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing large-scale federal programs, complex operational environments, and multidisciplinary teams, with a demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into effective execution. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call "Dewberry at Work," that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day leadership and oversight of contractor personnel supporting the Federal Client's mission requirements, including performance management, issue resolution, workforce coordination, and staff development.Manage client expectations and nurture a strong client relationshipEnsure appropriate operational coverage across mission-critical functions in alignment with the Federal Client's division leadership priorities and evolving mission requirements.Serve as a primary program interface with government leadership, analysts, technical personnel, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, establish priorities, and ensure successful delivery.Collaborate with government analysts and subject matter experts to define, develop, coordinate, and execute program deliverables.Review incoming reports, analyses, and other program products for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with government requirements.Access and utilize designated government databases and information systems to identify, extract, analyze, and format information in accordance with established specifications and security protocols.Lead the preparation and delivery of technical support documents, executive summaries, reports, briefings, presentations, and other program products.Monitor program performance, schedules, staffing, deliverables, and contractual commitments to identify risks and implement corrective actions.Manage financial performance for assigned program activities, including invoicing, forecasting, financial reporting, and coordination with subcontractors.Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality expectations, schedules, and deliverables.Apply strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to evaluate complex problems, identify trends and risks, develop solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to government leadership.Establish effective communication and coordination among government personnel, contractor staff, subcontractors, and AEC technical teams.Maintain strict compliance with applicable federal requirements, contract provisions, security protocols, and organizational policies.Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in high-pressure environments.Required Skills & Required ExperienceU.S. Citizenship required.Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph at time of hire.Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Business, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.PMP, CCM, PE, RA, or other relevant professional certification.10+ years of progressive experience applying administrative, operational, program, or project management principles and practices.5+ years of leadership, supervisory, or program management experience, preferably supporting federal government clients.Demonstrated experience supporting national security, intelligence, law enforcement, defense, or other mission-critical federal programs, with a preference for experience with the FBI.Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractor personnel, and/or subcontractors in a complex federal environment.Demonstrated experience with program financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and performance tracking.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Chrome and related collaboration and productivity tools.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with government leadership, technical professionals, analysts, and diverse contractor teams.Excellent oral and written presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences and senior executives.Experience managing staff augmentation or professional services contracts.Experience within an AEC, facilities, infrastructure, real estate, or federal capital program environment, managing large, complex federal programs or portfolios, and operating in classified or highly sensitive environments.Join Dewberry and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities we serve. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for VA only.
