DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)

We are hiring full‑time DISHWASHER positions at Walgreens 108 Cafe, 108 Wilmont Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. The schedule is full time, Monday‑Friday, with hours that may vary. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $19.50 per hour. Job Summary Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyors to the dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polish silverware using a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, following assigned equipment procedures and ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces. Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and product. Perform other duties as assigned.
