Join us as we continue to push the boundaries of brewing excellence and make a lasting impact in the world of craft beer.Position Summary: The Dishwasher is a key part of the Ballast Point kitchen team and ensures our kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils are maintained in clean and orderly condition, while always keeping the Company's high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in mind.What You'll Be DoingCollect and clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans and related food use itemsSafely operate dishwasher and check items for cleanliness, load appropriate soap levels and time cyclesStore cleaned, dried items in proper placesTransport items between dining room and dish roomRemove garbage from area and dispose of in proper waste containers, and operate garbage disposal unitClean floor of any spillage of water, detergent and/or foodstuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines for all food and chemical handlingWash worktables, walls, floors, and department equipmentTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and restock supplies when neededDeliver exceptional customer service to customers, vendors, peers, and managersOther responsibilities as assigned by the Executive ChefWhat You'll NeedHigh School diploma or GED, preferredSolid customer service skills and abilitiesTeam player that possesses a "can-do" attitudeAbility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays and alternative work weeksAbility to handle difficult situations and adapt quickly to resolve problemsDedicated to teamwork and open communicationLift and carry for a short distance up to 10 pounds regularly and 50 pounds rarelyPart Time availabilityPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobFrequently spend 8 hours working, standing, walking, and remaining stationary on feetFrequently talk or hearFrequently use taste and smell sensesContinuously reach, push, pull, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipeFrequently wash hands and handle cleaning productsFrequently lift and carry up to 25 poundsFrequently manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry, and wipeFrequently use close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus between the twoWho You Are: Our Dishwashers are attentive, organized, and eager to learn.
