Schedule: Days
Assignment Details: Holiday coverage not required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification is required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate echocardiography equipment to perform diagnostic imaging.
- Ensure high-quality imaging for cardiologist interpretation.
- Utilize the echocardiography system to write preliminary reports.
- Document patient care services in electronic medical records.
- Work independently as well as part of a team, providing quality patient care.
- Maintain and record information regarding equipment and protocols.
- Perform various types of echocardiography exams, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
