This 465-bed facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing comprehensive emergency and operative trauma surgery services. The hospital maintains established clinical protocols and dedicated staffing to support high-acuity trauma care in an inpatient setting. Locum tenens coverage is utilized to supplement the existing call schedule and ensure continuity of trauma surgery services.

The region features diverse terrain, providing options for hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic exploration, as well as access to cultural attractions and museums. Year-round activities, including golf on numerous courses across the state, are available for those seeking varied experiences during their assignment.

The trauma surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage in an inpatient setting at a Level 1 Trauma, 465-bed facility in Arizona. Clinicians are required to maintain on-site availability throughout each assigned call period to respond to trauma activations and surgical cases. The position supports a Level I Trauma Service and Acute Care Surgery program, delivering care for critically injured and emergency surgical patients. NP/PA support staff are available to assist with clinical operations during each coverage period.
