About the Role
The Company is seeking a President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as its chief strategist and operational leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the organization's mission, enhancing value for members, and representing the voice of business in the region. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong commitment to advancing economic opportunity and community prosperity. Key responsibilities include leading the development and execution of a strategic vision, serving as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and staff, and advocating for pro-business policies at all levels of government. The CEO will also be tasked with membership growth and engagement, securing sponsorships, and fostering economic development partnerships. Applicants for the President & CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 5-6 years' executive-level experience in a chamber of commerce, business association, economic development association, or a closely related business organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in relationship-building, organizational leadership, and stakeholder engagement, as well as proficiency in financial management and operational oversight. A graduate of WACE Academy and/or U.S. Chamber Institute is preferred. The role demands a results-oriented leader with a collaborative and visionary mindset, dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and capable of inspiring teams and navigating change with confidence.
