Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg Float Pool) – Iowa

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Highlights:

• Float pool assignment providing exposure to diverse clinical environments and patient populations
• Variety of specialties including Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, and Telemetry units
• Opportunities to develop skills across multiple high-acuity and specialty care settings
• Flexibility in assignment locations, including main campus and satellite facility (9.5 miles distance)
• 24-hour non-blocking period waived for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Ability and willingness to float across multiple units and specialties
• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to travel between campus locations as assigned
