Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Parsippany, NJ, US, 07054

Employment Type: Contract

Schedule: Overtime & Weekends if Required.

Note: No sponsorship this time and Local Candidates only.

Job summary:

We are hiring multiple Level 1 Data Center Technicians in Parsippany, NJ, US, 07054.

This is a great entry-level field opportunity for candidates with cabling experience and an interest in hands-on technical work supporting enterprise data center operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform loopback testing and circuit verification.

Install and troubleshoot Fiber and copper cabling.

Support hardware installations and data center infrastructure.

Maintain accurate documentation of network paths and circuits.

Follow all safety guidelines while working onsite.

Required Skills

2–3 years of experience in data center operations or structured cabling.

Experience with Fiber optic and copper cabling.

Familiarity with cabling hand tools and testing equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

OTDR/PMLS testing

Fusion or Mechanical Splicing

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs (move up to 75 lbs).

Comfortable working in active data center environments, including ladders and confined spaces.
