Plains Area Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Carroll, Iowa. Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule and one scheduled evening each week. The position is generally 3040 hours per week, with a preference for a 40-hour schedule that can be discussed based on the candidate's availability.

The position begins with in-person work and may transition to a hybrid arrangement after onboarding and establishment of an appropriate telehealth caseload. Hybrid scheduling may include up to two remote days per week. Occasional travel to satellite offices may also be required.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000$80,000 annually depending on experience , with a bilingual differential available.

Full benefits are available for positions of 30 hours or more and include health, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, paid holidays, continuing education opportunities, and other available programs.

Your Role

In this position, you will provide outpatient behavioral health services to children and adults while developing individualized treatment approaches based on each client's needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct behavioral health evaluations and assessments.
• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic services.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with clients, families, providers, and other members of the care team.
• Participate in clinical consultation and team-based treatment planning.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral health crises and changing client needs.
• Participate in paid on-call responsibilities as required.
• Provide clinical support and mentorship to temporary licensed clinicians when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current Iowa licensure as an LMHC, LISW, or LMFT.
• Valid Iowa driver's license.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
