Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist

Presbyterian Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist to join their interdisciplinary team. This role involves providing high-quality care within a thriving multispecialty clinic setting, focusing on both pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease. The ideal candidate will possess state-of-the-art clinical expertise and the drive to develop and lead a statewide comprehensive adult congenital heart disease program. Practice Info * Interdisciplinary team of board-certified providers including a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon, pediatric interventional cardiologist, and cardiologists focusing on fetal cardiology, adult congenital cardiology, electrophysiology, congenital heart disease, and acquired heart diseases in both pediatric and adult patients * Practice integrated in a thriving multispecialty clinic setting * System-Wide EPIC EMR Responsibilities * Consult on ED, NICU and PICU patients at Presbyterian and partner hospitals * Assist pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, adult congenital, and pediatric heart surgery colleagues with the management of service and inpatient consults * Develop and lead a statewide comprehensive adult congenital heart disease program * Care for patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings Compensation * Salary Range: $320,000 - $380,000 a year * Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) - Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a not-for-profit organization, and many physician roles may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program * New Mexico Physician Tax Credit - Eligible physicians practicing in New Mexico may be eligible for a state income tax credit of up to $10,000 per year * New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program - Physicians practicing in designated shortage areas may be eligible for state funded student loan repayment, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment Benefits * Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, and vision and more * Exceptional retirement plans - 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions * 403(b) retirement savings program with employer contributions and matching opportunities * New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship * New Mexico Universal Childcare Program Shift & Schedule * Weekly Schedule - Monday- Friday 8 AM - 5 PM * Call - 1:4 Requirements * An unrestricted MD degree * Eligible for licensure in the State of New Mexico * Board certification in either pediatric or adult cardiology * Fellowship training or extensive experience in adult congenital heart disease * Board certification or eligibility in adult congenital heart disease preferred * A minimum of two years of congenital heart clinical practical experience preferred * J-1 visa sponsorship available * Open to visa sponsorship
