Afternoon hours - Assistant Teacher Early Childhood Daycare Center

NOW HIRING: AFTERCARE TEACHER

Learn & Discover Playschool is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Aftercare Teacher to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking for a consistent part-time afternoon schedule.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
Position: Part-Time Aftercare Assistant Teacher
Salary: $17 Hour - $20 Hour depending on experience and credentials

There is also an opportunity for interested candidates to be added to our substitute teacher list for additional hours as they become available.

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  
  
• Be dependable and available to work during the required afternoon hours
  
  
• Enjoy working with young children in an early childhood setting
  
  
• Be willing and able to complete all required New York City mandated background clearances
  
  
  
• Submit a completed medical form
  
  
  
• Complete all required online trainings prior to the first day of employment
  
  
  

Preferred: Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply.
