Classification Title:Adjunct – Learning Frameworks Instructor (Pool)Department:Learning FrameworksPhysical Demands:Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.Job Summary/Basic Function:Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Reports to the Division Chair – TransitionalEducation/Learning FrameworksTeaches Learning Frameworks classes using traditional and alternative delivery methodsCollege benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.Minimum Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Education or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in education courses from a regionally accredited collegeInterest in alternative instructional delivery methodsDemonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations;Excellent written and oral communication skillsOther qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institutionExceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met #J-18808-Ljbffr Brazosport-College
