Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job DescriptionRegistered Behavior Technicians work with individuals of all ages to help improve their lives and their ability tointeract with those around them. The RBT will be responsible for observing the individual's interactions with variousenvironments to identify social and behavioral issues, such as self-injury or aggression. The RBT will be responsiblefor direct observation, collecting data, and providing training and support to team members.  Responsibilities:Observe individuals in home and community settingsComplete Assessment to report to Director of Behavior ServicesProvide training and support to team membersAttend Circle of Support and Team MeetingsComplete ongoing assessment of servicesCollect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client's individualized treatment and behavior reductionprotocols.Effectively communicate client progressMaintain client confidentiality.Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, and outside professionalsMaintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training  Qualifications:Must be a Registered Behavior TechnicianValid driver's license with your own transport.Excellent verbal and report writing skills.Calm, empathic, and patient.The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practicesAcceptable criminal (State and County) histories***Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle Knowledge:Current CPR CertificationCurrent First Aid CertificationMedication Administration CertificationProvider Investigator CertificationEvent Management TrainingAdditional RequirementsValid driver's license and liability insuranceAcceptable criminal (State and County) histories
