NY Pie is looking for Pizza Makers for our Hendersonville location! We offer competitive pay at $18-$23 per hour, including tips (based on experience; potential to earn more if you learn multiple roles). Pay is dependent upon skills and experience. These positions offer a flexible full or part-time schedule.

NY Pie is a fun, family-style pizzeria with four Nashville area locations. We are looking for people with a Wild Hospitality mindset to add to our team! Description: 

Prepares, assembles, and bakes pizzas according to recipes, working in fast-paced kitchens. Responsibilities include preparing dough and toppings, operating ovens, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing customer service. Key skills required are speed, accuracy, food safety knowledge, and teamwork 

Core Responsibilities:

• Pizza Preparation: Hand-stretching dough, saucing, topping, and baking pizzas consistently. 
• Ingredient Prep: Preparing dough, chopping vegetables, making sauces, and slicing meats. 
• Oven Management: Operating and monitoring wood-fired, gas, or conveyor ovens to ensure proper cooking. 
• Kitchen Sanitation: Cleaning workstations, tools, and equipment, and maintaining high hygiene standards. 
• Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors of low inventory. 
• Customer Service: Managing orders and, in some settings, taking orders or handing food to customers. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience as a pizza maker required 
• Knowledge : Understanding of food sanitation regulations and safety standards. 
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, fast-paced environment. 
• Schedule Flexibility: Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
• Skills : Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to follow recipes. Must be able to read orders from tickets and/or screen.
