Industrial Maintenance Technician

Join a leading manufacturer in the food packaging industry as an experienced Maintenance Electrician in Glasgow, MO. We offer multiple openings across all three shifts, providing flexibility for candidates seeking day, evening, or overnight schedules. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with 480V electrical systems, motor controls, drives, and electrical panels.
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Support mechanical repairs involving motors, belts, drives, and related equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and other maintenance projects as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical, Electrical, and Maintenance technician skills.
• Pneumatics and Industrial Electrical Troubleshooting (480V).
• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems, motors, drives, panels, and controls.
• PLC Troubleshooting.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting 480V electrical systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and motor controls.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: Technical certification or apprenticeship training.
• National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge.
• Manufacturing or food production experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in an industrial manufacturing facility, where you may be exposed to heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment. You will need the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and work at heights or operate lifts when needed. Overtime opportunities are available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
