JourneymenElectrician-$42-$46/hr Summary:Thejourneymenelectricianisaskilledandlicensed,responsibleforevaluating,repairingandreplacingavarietyofelectricalfacilitycomponents,toensuretheequipmentisfullyoperationalandmeetsstandards.Thispositionwillbeinvolvedincorrectiveandpreventivemaintenanceandminoralterationwork.ThispositionreportstotheFacilitiesManager. DUTIES: Readblueprintsortechnicaldiagrams Identifyandtroubleshootelectricalproblems Installandmaintainwiring,control,andlightingsystems Inspectelectricalcomponents,suchastransformersandcircuitbreakers Identifyelectricalproblemswithavarietyoftestingdevices Repairandreplacewiring,equipment,orfixturesusinghandtoolsandpowertools FollowStateandLocalbuildingregulationsbasedontheNationalElectricCode Demonstratesinitiativeinassignmentsandmaintainspositivecustomerrelations. Respondstoemergencycalls. Followsallsafetypracticesandadheretoallsafetyrelatedpolicies. Maintainsaccurateandtimelypaperwork. Reliesonexperienceandjudgmenttoplanandaccomplishgoals.
