General Manager – 4 Rivers Smokehouse | Winter Garden, FL

4 Rivers Smokehouse is seeking an experienced General Manager to join our leadership team with the intended placement at our Winter Garden Smokehouse. While this opportunity is focused on Winter Garden, flexibility throughout the Central Florida market is important, as placement may shift based on business needs and organizational growth.

This role begins with our 5-week Manager in Training (MIT) program, designed to fully immerse leaders in the 4 Rivers culture, systems, and operations. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will graduate into the General Manager title and role.

As a General Manager, you’ll play a critical role in bringing those values to life every day through leadership, hospitality, and operational excellence.



What You’ll Do

• Lead daily restaurant operations in a high-volume environment
• Hire, coach, and develop team members and managers
• Drive sales, labor, food cost, and guest satisfaction results
• Ensure exceptional food quality and hospitality standards
• Create a positive, people-first culture focused on accountability and growth
• Support local marketing, catering, and community involvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of restaurant General Manager experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience managing P&L, labor, and food cost controls
• Hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to support the Central Florida market as needed

4 Rivers Smokehouse began with the launch of the “Barbecue Ministry” in 2004, when John hosted a cookout fundraiser to support a local family whose young daughter was battling cancer. This one event resulted in a passion for supporting local schools, churches, and charitable organizations.
