Travel Medical-Surgical Oncology RN - Bone Marrow Transplant - $2,113 per week

Job Title Travel Nurse RN – Hematology / Oncology – Columbus, Ohio Position Overview American Traveler is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 16‑week assignment starting 1 June 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. The role is a 12‑hour night shift (3×12 hrs) position, totaling 36 hrs per week. Responsibilities Provide nursing care in the Mixed Acuity PCU and Med/Surg unit specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) oncology care. Care for patients with hematologic malignancies such as ALL, AML, CLL, CML, Hodgkin’s and Non‑Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Myeloproliferative Disorders, Aplastic Anemia, and Amyloidosis. Participate in Autologous, Syngeneic, and Allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR‑T Therapy. Perform telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation. Chart in Epic EMR (experience required). Administer chemotherapy (ONS Chemotherapy Certification preferred). Manage feeding tubes, central lines, and administer blood products. Respond to Rapid Response Teams and provide basic airway support. Requirements Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand. BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred. Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg and oncology nursing experience. Hematology/Oncology (Heme‑Onc) experience strongly preferred. Epic EMR experience required. Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation. Skills: MS/Tele, Rapid Response Teams, feeding tube care, central line blood draw, peripheral line care, PICC line management, nasal cannula administration. Two recent professional references from a supervisor and full 7‑year work history with gaps explained. Additional Information Heme‑Onc experience is strongly preferred. No 30‑day break required between assignments for this facility (excluding Sterile Processing Techs). All time‑off and scheduling requests submitted at application.
