Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem

Responsibilities Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the care and safety of our patients. The Registered Nurse provides direct care under the guidance of physicians and treatment teams, maintains a safe environment through safety checks and crisis management, documents patient care, and upholds core values. This is a per diem position not eligible for benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts. Job Duties/Responsibilities Assesses and responds to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians. Conducts safety checks and implements appropriate behavioral management techniques. Maintains core values and mission. Minimum requirements: one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation. Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred. ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred. CPR certification required.
