What We’re Looking For Education : High School Diploma or GED is required. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program. 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred. Experience : Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred. Licensure/Certification : ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R) required. Applicable state licensure as required. Post-graduate graduates from an accredited Radiology Program will be required to pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing the program. Additional Skills : Applies ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure; knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws; correctly utilizes personnel monitoring devices; ensures proper equipment performance and schedules maintenance for emergent needs; operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment; independently performs radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures (including intraoperative and mobile procedures) as prescribed by a licensed practitioner; assists licensed practitioners in procedures including ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini-C-arms, post-reductions; mobile imaging including lines, pacers, and neonates. Responsibilities Perform radiographic procedures using appropriate positioning, exposure, and radiation safety techniques. Collaborate with the radiology team and other clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for emergent needs.
