Perform duties in accordance with current acceptable patient accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to pediatric health care operations.Essential Tasks:Monitor and collect accounts receivables; balance accounts, reconcile statements and report delinquent accounts to Executive staffExecute billing and coding daily processes and oversee patient collections processesAssist in creating written policies and standardizing procedures for the revenue cycle management unit.Perform RCM processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and industry specific guidelinesParticipate in weekly RCM Team meetingsPost and review payments received to patient's account.Prepare monthly financial statements to include accounts receivable and finalize monthly reconciliation reports, etc.Perform and confirm proper data entry on all patient charges and associated refundsAssist with the implementation of a new billing system, as appropriateAssist in preparing financial and statistical reports, as directedAssist in preparing and implementation of changes in our patient accounting system, as directedResponsible for generating patient statements and preparing for monthly mailoutsMaintain billing and payment logs, as necessary or directedResponsible for Payer communications to ensure timely reimbursement and rates consistent with delegated/contractual ratesAssist in preparing department budgets and monthly financial statementsPerform additional duties as necessary or directedOne Year of Pediatric Billing ExperienceOne Year of Experience with MedicaidHigh School DiplomaCertification in Billing & Coding #J-18808-Ljbffr Pediatric Center For Wellness Pc
