Financial Controller - Maison

Summary The Financial Controller for Armand de Brignac is responsible for ensuring accurate valuation of the company’s assets and liabilities and maintaining the general ledger in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and LVMH processes. The role oversees accounting operations including A/P, A/R, inventory and treasury, and leads month, quarter and year-end close activities. The Controller prepares financial reporting for the Joint Venture Board and LVMH, coordinates audits, and drives process improvements and automation. Responsibilities Manage general accounting functions including A/P, A/R, inventory and treasury and oversee month, quarter and year-end close activities. Review and validate monthly financial statements and reconcile SAP with MH/LVMH reporting tools. Prepare financial analysis and presentations for the Joint Venture Board; collaborate with FP&A on forecasts and overhead budgeting. Build cash forecasts, approve payment requests, maintain e-banking, and manage bank relationships and covenants. Perform monthly inventory reconciliations, oversee physical counts and recommend provisions, write-offs or destructions of obsolete inventory. Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits and implement internal control self-assessments and remediation. Lead process improvement, automation initiatives, and ad hoc financial projects as directed by management. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; CPA preferred. Minimum 12 years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, GAAP/IFRS, and experience with SAP, Excel and PowerPoint. Proven analytical, leadership and presentation skills with high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
