This position will be responsible for coordinating daily work assignments to ensure requirements are met. The ITC group ensures that all Support Equipment and Test Missile Kit equipment is calibrated, certified and ready to support a flight test operation.This position will provide the longer term planning/scheduling of man power assignments to maintain flight test schedules, attend the project status meetings with the customers, adjudicating discrepancies with other contractors/branches, developing the proposals for the next contract, monitoring budgets and making adjustments as needed.You will be responsible for maintaining the cost, schedule and on time performance of the SP27 requirements.In addition, you will:Provide technical guidance and oversight to team on complex repair and test activitiesHave in-depth knowledge of the interdisciplinary relationships of missile system requirements, weapon system and Range interfaces, and Facility operationsProvide direct interaction with senior external personnel and the LMS organization on significant technical mattersMonitor Support Equipment status, identify and resolve significant problems, and alert the Field Engineering Manager and LMS organizations Liaise with these organizations to ensure prompt resolution of problems, including analysis of potential causes, suggested interim measures, and final corrective actionsCoordinate overall engineering and technical assistance to NOTU during Preparations, In-Tube Conversion, and subsequent testing and checkout of SP27/LMS cognizant SWS Weapons Systems.Light to moderate travel will be required as schedules dictate.Ability to climb up and down ladders to access submarines is required.Basic QualificationsFamiliarity with Mechanical Support Equipment installation and removalFamiliarity with Systems level testingMust have Interim Secret Clearance prior to startAbility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.; US Citizenship requiredDesired SkillsMechanical skills Electronic background Equipment testing experience USN-SSBN (Ship Submersible Ballistic Nuclear) or SWS (Strategic Weapon System) experience Presentation computer skills Active DoD ClearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
