Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians. This position is clinic-based and emphasizes maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) ultrasound skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred specialties applicable to OB/MFM).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer, including prior travel experience for travel submissions. No local-only candidates will be accepted.
• Demonstrated strong MFM / OBGYN clinic experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to assist physicians during examinations and procedures and to perform and document diagnostic exams per clinic protocols.
• Comfort working in a pay-when-paid (PWP) vendor environment is required.
• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Clinical judgment and ability to teach patients and families regarding conditions and self-care within scope of practice.
• Preferred: ARDMS specialty credentials specific to obstetric/gynecologic sonography.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital-affiliated clinic.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0800 - 1700 with a 30-minute mandatory lunch.
• Work days: Monday - Friday.
• Call requirements: one week every 4-6 weeks.
• Candidate must be willing to work in a clinic setting rather than inpatient hospital wards.
