Responsibilities Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services. Website: Click here for a virtual Facility Tour Position Summary The Therapist is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs including, but not limited to: administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy, case management, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required. Must possess a TX State licensure: LPC, LPC-I, LPC-A, LMSW, LMFT or LCSW required. A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure and experience and/or student internship hours may be considered. Will be required to work flexible hours. CPR and HWC Crisis Intervention training must be completed prior to beginning work.
