• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / EP Lab with Structural Heart Program
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks with potential to extend
• Start Date: 7/30/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,770 - $2,920
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Shifts per Week: 4 scheduled shifts per week
• Shift Schedule: Weekdays, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with call coverage for nights and weekends; holidays may be included
• Call Requirements: Approximately 1-2 call days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Work Environment: Busy two-room lab with an average of about 50 cases per week

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
• At least 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Experience in a Cath Lab, EP Lab, and structural heart procedures preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Ability to respond to STEMI call during the week and weekends as part of a rotating schedule
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-based acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Support the care team in a busy cardiac cath lab environment with a high volume of cardiac cases
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures using established cardiac monitoring systems
• Assist with emergency and on-call coverage, including STEMI call rotation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols, patient safety standards, and infection control practices
