What You'll Do

• Attend and assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, supporting newborn transition
• Admit neonates to NICU and discharge them when appropriate
• Manage care for newborns in the Neonatal Observation Unit (NOU)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including MDs, NNPs, RNs, social services, and other specialists
• Educate and update parents on newborn care, including breastfeeding support
• Administer medications via IV, IM, SQ, ETT, OGT, NGT, orally, rectally, topically, and eye drops/ointments
• Manage ventilators, central lines, and IV placements in neonates
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions, PICC line placements, x-ray assistance, ABGs, ultrasounds, and intubation
• Monitor and support critical neonatal procedures including nitric oxide administration, exchange transfusions, and blood administration

What You Need

• Valid RN license with Neonatal ICU experience (minimum 3 years)
• Current BLS & NRP certifications
• Proficiency in IV placement, labs, ventilator management, and medication administration
• Compassion, empathy, and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to float to different neonatal units including NOU and newborn nursery
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday shifts (including major and minor holidays)
