Your role as a CLINICAL SPECIALIST-PACT As a Clinical Specialist, you will immerse yourself in a collaborative environment, participating in daily team meetings and case reviews while providing individual and group counseling through evidence‑based approaches. Your expertise will be essential in delivering emergency mental health assessments and consulting with medical staff on client medication needs. You’ll take an active role in educating and supporting clients’ families and support systems, ensuring a holistic approach to care. Regular assessment of client progress, coordination with community providers and facilitation of transportation services, and active participation in the on‑call rotation and ongoing quality improvement initiatives will help clients achieve independence. Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need a Master’s degree in a human services discipline (e.g., social work, psychology), and a minimum of two years of post‑bachelor’s experience providing mental health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. A valid NY or NJ driver’s license with a clean five‑year driving record that meets agency standards. Strong knowledge of community resources and agencies. Proficiency in English; Spanish speaking preferred. Commitment to a flexible 40‑hour work schedule. Additional required knowledge and skills include: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services discipline. Minimum of two years of post‑bachelor’s experience providing mental health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Knowledge of community resources and agencies. Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean five‑year driving record. Spanish‑speaking candidates strongly preferred. A background check is required.
