Hydro Vac Operator

Experienced Vac Truck Driver

Precision Pipeline Line is hiring an Experienced Vac Truck Driver to work in natural gas pipeline construction / utility construction field. This position requires excellent communication skills and basic computer skills sets.

Essential Functions:

1. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
2. Valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.
3. Experience operating a vacuum truck.
4. Understanding of relevant safety regulations, such as OSHA standards and confined space entry procedures
5. Safely mobilize truck near desired hole, place in work mode per procedure, use remote to position boom, clamp dig tube onto boom, pull water hose to hole.
6. Operates heavy machinery, which is typically used in utility construction.
7. Document all work performed according to policy.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience related to the operation of heavy equipment used in utility construction.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Strong understanding of pipeline construction work. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly for natural gas, electrical and other utilities.
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently on occasion.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to travel throughout Precision Pipeline's operations in and around the Ohio area.
• Maintain equipment and keeping it clean both inside and outside.
• Self-motivated, good work ethic and ability to follow specific verbal/written instructions.
