Job Summary And Qualifications Supervises and manages the activities of the CT Scan Department. Operates with considerable latitude for initiative, independent judgment, planning, and actions. Maintains the Radiation Dose Optimization and the Safe Use of CT Image Gently/Image Wisely. Monitors Dose Watch program and reconciliations. Assures all ACR, state and federal regulations are met. Acts as a liaison between the Physicians and the Radiologists. Reviews and updates all CT protocols. Oversees CCTA, CT Stroke Alert and Interventional Radiology procedures performed in CT. Under the direction of the Medical Director, performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of computed tomography for the diagnosis of disease in humans. Under general supervision, operates CT Scan equipment, positions patients to produce diagnostic radiographs in a safe manner and performs related duties.
