Maintenance Person

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team at our family-run hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conducting basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and sheetrock work.
• Performing minor carpentry tasks such as replacing door handles, repairing furniture, etc.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, light bulbs, and batteries.
• Maintaining and repairing pool and spa equipment.
• Conducting regular inspections of the property to identify any potential hazards or issues.
• Performing painting and floor work, such as laying tile, as needed.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and sheetrock work.
• Minor carpentry skills preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field would be advantageous.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Hours:

• Pay rates based on experience can range from $9-$15/hr.
• Part-Time Help 25-35 hours per week.
• Weekly pay provided.
