Physical Therapist - Long Term Acute Care Hospital

Location: Arlington, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: Days, 08:00-16:00, Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 32

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a Long Term Acute Care Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans for patients in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical function and mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas (or PT Compact License).
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an acute care setting, with ICU experience preferred.
