With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Arcadis is looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our team in Georgia or Florida as part of our Mobility Business Area.Role DescriptionYou will deliver “best in class” technical and innovative solutions to our clients in the design, delivery, and management of critical structural resources for our State, municipal and design-build clients. In this position, you will be co-located in the project office for a major design-build infrastructure project, interfacing with the design and contractor teams. Role AccountabilitiesCo-location at the project office with frequent visits to the construction siteParticipate in project progress meetingsCollaborate with other design disciplinesCollaborate with senior engineers to resolve RFI’s and NCR’sPrepare reports for senior engineer reviewTrack and meet schedule requirements for deliverablesRequired Qualifications5 or more years of professional work experience in transportation infrastructureExperience in the design of concrete and steel bridge structuresBachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringEI/EIT CertificationExperience with AASHTO design codesProficiency with relevant bridge design software including Bentley/LEAP/Open Bridge Designer, MathCAD, Microsoft Office products, and MicroStation.Effective problem solving skillsAbility to take initiative and make decisionsAbility to work with little direct oversightDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.Key Skills and AttributesPreferred Qualifications & SkillsExperience in construction or performing engineering services for contractorsExperience with Procore or other document management platformsProfessional Engineer CertificationMS Degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldExperience with GDOT bridge policiesWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
