Located in Nashville, TN, this pharmacy processes approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, requiring efficient and accurate verification skills. The position does not require on-call duties, offering a predictable schedule. The pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system and operates without automation, emphasizing hands-on expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification processes ensuring accuracy of medication, directions, and prescription information
• Verify correct medication in each bottle or box against prescription details and hard copy documentation
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and regulatory adherence

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
